I hired Whelchel landscape several years ago for a backyard project that we are still enjoying. We decided to use their services for a complete redo of our front yard. Kelly Ann helped me with the design and Dmitri, Mario and the rest of the crew removed old plants and trees, laid gravel, planted juniper and piñon, built a stuccoed courtyard wall, laid pavers inside the courtyard , and ran all new irrigation. Everyone was friendly, professional, and easy to work with. I highly recommend this company
Samantha, Ray, Cory and his crew were outstanding! Our backyard was rather boring to say the least. It was a square brick patio with square turf. Samantha and Ray created a concept with curved lines , trees, and other plants of varying heights to create visual interest. Cory and his crew executed that vision, and now our backyard looks warm and welcoming. The work was expertly done with great attention to detail in just a few days. The crew was friendly and fun, and they took great care to respect our space and keep everything neat and clean during construction. They were the best remodeling/construction crew we’ve ever used, and we’ve done a fair bit of remodeling over the years.
We had a great experience with the Whelchel team, from design to customer service to workmanship to professionalism. The team helped us with design, having great ideas about plants. The work started in a reasonable timeframe as promised and was completed in a timely manner. Communication with Sam was very easy as she was always responsive to our requests for information. We love the new back yard!

I needed landscaping done for my newly built house. I already had what I wanted drawn up and Kelly Ann added some detail and suggested some changes to make it better. She was great to work with. Isaiah and his crew came and did a great job and it turned out as I was hoping for. I especially appreciate that they had fixed a paver that was cracked near the end of the job without even having to point it out to them. They also came and tried some different sprinkler heads to find ones that worked best for my lawn after the job was done and they were already paid. I would definitely use them again!

Whelchel Landscaping recently landscaped our backyard with new gravel and paver pathways. They also provided drainage provisions that is needed during monsoon season. Dave and his crew did an excellent job on the removal of old gravel and soil and the installation of the new landscaping. The crew showed up every morning on time and on a couple of days stayed past quitting time to get to a good stopping point. The crew worked well with each other and enjoyed a positive camaraderie. Bill Whelchel visited several times during the duration of the project. The work was performed to my desired expectations at every phase of the project. A couple of post-job items were handled in expedient fashion. We would recommend Whelchel Landscaping & Construction to anyone who is planning any type of landscaping.
